I remember playing football for 23 Sqdn 1951/1953 and shooting for the station team
I remember being part of the 60 Sqdn detachment going to support the Vampires to Ceylon to shpw the flag and carry out an aerobatic display,and also air to air firing at Butterworth where an armourer got killed with a 20mm cannon as they were rearming a Vampire.
