While training officer cadets my SSM
and I went to watch the cadets at play.
It was fox hunt that was in progress. A lot of the riders jumped this gate near where we were standing. One officer was thrown from his mount attempting to jump the gate. The SSM who was Stan Usher said "Who gave you prmission to dismount Mr. Davies " I just could not stop laughing. I will remember this as it was said in earnest at the time. Only SSM Usher was not noted for his Humour |
