5 Coy RASC, Neumunster in 1948 written by walter dawson
I remember a couple of the lads names, Pete Jolliffe, from Bristol, and Jack Stewart from Billingham (on Tees) among the many who were there. The good times we had on the Beach at Eckenforde, driving 'Neptunes' on the Bay. I was the one that caught fire at sea and had to be towed in by a German fishing Boat, me and my 'oppo' that is whose name I cannot remember.
Any of you guys still out there.?. |
