 while serving as a n engine mech on flying boat sgdn at seletar,the sunderland wheels attached,had enteredthe water from the slipway looking out of the window isaw something wound around the upper arm of swimmer nearby ,to my horror i saw the head of a deadly variety of sea snake head emerge and it was wayching the simmers face,whohad averteted his head.much panic ashore some one intende to shoot the snake, sme hopes.eventually the snake left the manwho had a white patch of hair down the centre of his head.gordon |
