ATCC at Hannover, Germany. in 1960 written by Raymond Downing
Remember good times, and bad, at Hannover Air Traffic Control Centre. The posting was RAF Wunsdorf. A very 'cushy' posting indeed. On arrival transferred to Lagangagan barracks which we shared with the army. Eventually got quarters at Stettinerweg in Kleefeld area of Hannover. Remembering John Tubb, Jim Kinlan,Roly the French Canadian, and Margaret and George, both local German people. What a different world it was in those days! |
