3rd Super Heavy artillery regiment 42-46 in 1942

 Me (Stanley Pyart) and Spiv Jones (my 2nd driver)drove M6 tractor, pulling barrel of a gun. Used to sleep while the gun fired - only ever heard the first couple of rounds! There is an M6 tractor in Marshall Museum, in Holland -would love to see it again as I enjoyed driving it so much. Went tank driving for mt 80th birthday last year!!! |
