it's a liiiie! its meant to be 2004! in 2002 written by Emilia McKay
Remember there are a few newbies on here, especially people like me who are only on Trade Training!
Well, well, well, I've had many memories of RAF Halton ;o) If any of the lads are reading this, you know who you are! It's mainly silly things I did at GDT lessons!
Where do I start? Cpl Landore - he always ripped me in front of everyone! But I just gave back as good as I got.
Then Cpl Fisher - one time, I noticed him look at me dodgy while my squad and another one were lined up outside the classroom...me being me, I was at the back of the queue wasn't I. And it wasn't until he walked right passed me, he must have turned around, placed both of his hands on my back, and pushed me full force into the guy in front of me! So, I was nearly winded and some domino effect took place - the person at the front nearly going ass over heels! he blames it on ME! Cheeky Cornish man (at least I think I recall him saying he was?!)I've managed to lose two parts of my rifle on seperate occasions - one time being the firing pin retaining pin, and the other the cam stud... and as one of the corporals said, "From now on, you shall be called Cam Stud - and when new recruits ask you why....you can tell them!..." blah blah blah! Bless!
I will update this soon - I have a lot of fond memories - and usually it's happened down GDT, but I got to love you all and leave you! ciao for now. |
