joined hms woolaston on august 1958 doing patrols around the island of cyprus done all the watering holes around the island.there was a couple of jones on the boat new them only as black jones and white jones.we gave the old keo brandy a right hammering.at a pound a gallon who wouldnt,we had a good captain ln commander joel.and from cyprus we went for a few months to singapore.any of the crew remember those days give me a e-mail thanks jim.
any one out there.remember being on the roebuck,we went to londonderry.then to malta with the whirlwind and the wakeful.we had a skiffle band taffie edwards jan simpson and col williamson and myself played down the gut in malta .and down in a couple of pubs in union st plymouth god what great time we had then I think it was in 1956 if you know me give me a barrel.thank jim
