To date lost £10. backing France.

2  £5. bets on England scores.

So i need a wise/sage to advise me who should i put my £5 on tomorrow to score the first goal? Must be an Englishman.

Channel 4 are showing a film at the moment about the murder of escapees from Stalag Luft 111. in 1944.

Timing or what?

Haven’t seen the line-up but if Crouch plays I would wager he will cause a few problems.  Rooney couldn’t hit a barn door at the moment!  I don’t say that with any relish, I admire good players even if they do play for United!  Heskey is a cart horse - and a clumsy one at that.  Don’t waste your money on him. My money would be on Lampard but then I am a bit biased.  My rationale being he is due one.

Personally, I don’t care who scores as long as he is English and it is not an own goal!  Moreover, if we get beaten I hope it is not because of a lack of confidence/effort.  We need to take the game to them from the KO.

Let’s hope it is a good entertaining match - I am watching it in the pub full of Norwegians who all support England.  Nice to be in a country who are (in the main) Anglophiles.

In summary, then, put your money on Johnson!!!
