I have played a lot of representative football in my time and England haven’t got the bottle. unfortunately!

Can’t say I blame the players.  I see different managers of England but we always seem to play the same way, ergo possession football.  We need invention.  None of this playing across the back four, up to the midfield, back to the backs, again and again. Many examples in our last match,  when we broke the opposition’s play down, in an advanced position we took too much time.

I believe we have the players who havrcee the skill but these players are stifled out of their creativity.

I always hope we do well but do you know what I mean?  The managers change but we always seem to play the same way.  Why bother changing the manager if we’re playing the same predictable way?

Play the players in their normal positions, how simple is that?  Many England players I see look like they are not confident. Why?

They are individually up there with the best of ’em in terms of technical skill but I sometimes have less faith in their mental strength.
