Must confess I never came across this unpaid ’internship’ lark during the thirty odd years I was in   a Drawing Office partnership. We occasionally took on trainees or provided work experience, but the youngsters were paid. Can’t remember how much and it was long before minimum wages were thought of, but one or two certainly stayed on to become  highly valued tracers. We never attempted to train  draughtsmen, simply because we didn’t have a works or factory to provide time ’on the tools’.
As far as I’m concerned, any oufit that pulls ’Nowt for Owt’ stunts is just plain bl- -dy greedy.
Cheers, Syd.

The Tooth Fairy is alive and well Scouse - believe it!!!!

How you can criticise the Daily Mail and yet give credence to the Guardian makes me wonder.  The Guardian is so biased it even makes politicians seem straight, upright people.  It’s as bad as the BBC for the most part and worse in others.

Alright Terry, I think if you check it out you will find that the Guardian is a Lib-Dem rag & if I’m not mistaken they are currently collaborating with the Tories in government, the Daily Mail is a rabid right wing rag but they’re both in the same bed.

You & others on the center right complain that the BBC has a left wing bias, I’ve got news for you those of us on the center left will swear it’s the other way round & they in fact are slanted to the right. This can only mean one thing...they are getting it right if both sides feel slighted.
