I’m sorry John but I dont watch UK TV or read your papers, but I think the simple question "What next?" was intended to ellicit a point of view from people actually living in the UK.

Ron.

May I just point out that I read your post and took it to be what it was -  a statement ....What Next! (Exclamation Mark) and not a question...What Next? (Question Mark)....and I read it  simply as a piece of news, (which I had not seen on TV or in the Press). Other posts are written in a similar vein on this site without reply.

The woman was sent to jail, she had a previous conviction. I agree with Terry’s posts also...unfortunately threads get hijacked on here....hence not many posters.....plenty of "Viewers"....

Was the sentence imposed too harsh or not. From what I understood on YouTube, apart from the beeped out words which I took to be bad language, the woman was merely stating a fact. I woulod never have tyhought that a person could be sent to jail for stating a fact!

Good Morning Ron,  Thanks for your reply, did not realise  that you lived out side the U.K.
                                      Regards J.D.

Morning JD. Yes I’m downunder and just finished tea. I’m off to watch episode 8 of series two, Game of Thrones.

Just seeing on Sky News that a Team of Lifeguards from Oz. have been invited up for the Queens Jubilee. Get your Cossie and you passport and join ’’em. The weather here is lovely, at the moment.  Cheers.

Wouldn’t mind being there for the Jubilee celebrations, especially the parades etc etc. but can’t make it unfortunately. I’d have to get my cossies out of mothballs.
