I have no answer as to why it wont work from view all new posts, as it should.

My team will look into this next week.

The video search unfrotunately at this time wont be replaced as we have nothing we can replace it with.

We may replace it some time in the future if we can organise the time to code something from scratch.

Hhhmmm!!!!

Terry, there is a little trick (well not really a trick, just good practice) that may or may not yield a result and that is to empty your cache.
It has turned out to be the answer to several issues here before. I have not tried it yet as I have no interest in entering most of the threads currently on offer!!
It is interesting that this problem of being unable to enter specific threads only cropped up within the last year. This leads me to suspect that the issue is not with us, muckha!!

Hi All,

Dom has referred this topic to me, and I’m happy to say that, to the best of my knowledge, the issue with unavailable pages is fixed.  If you continue to have problems, first refresh your cache, as described by Mike in the post above this one!  If you are then still having problems, please submit a support request with the EXACT issue you are having, including the page you are on, and the page you are trying to access.

RE: video search - as far as I was aware all support requests about the video search had been answered the same way, but I’ll explain here anyway.  The technology we were using to run the video search became unavailable to us after our server upgrade, so we are currently unable to offer it, and that’s why it has disappeared from the menu!  If and when we find a way of reintroducing the video search, we will so!  However, I would also add that quite a few of our members complained that the video search didn’t do everything they wanted it to, so we also need to bear that in mind when searching for something new.

Speaking from a technical point of view, we may grumble when members complain (or "nag" ), but that’s only because we are human.  We ALWAYS look in to any issues raised by our members, and fix them as quickly as we can.  I’ve only had 2 or 3 issues passed on to me so far this year, and unless I hear otherwise, I naturally assume the site is running fine!  It’s not of any benefit to us, or our members to have a site that doesn’t work properly, but we can only fix problems we are aware of!
