Good morning everyone, a lovely start to the day, sun is out.

Margaret keep strong love, you know where I am if you need to talk. Big hugs to Phil.

We had a lovely day yesterday with 15 of the family. Oliver was on top form and very pleased to see me, he also wanted to see Patch but there were too many people to take him. The food and drink was lovely but we did eat inside as there was a very cold wind blowing.

We are thinking about going over to gosport next week in the van for a few days so that we can go to some of the museums, I particularly want to see the firepower museum at Priddys Hard and the submarine museum.

Hugh sorry you arent enjoying your holiday, I have always loved the Lake district, we have had good weather and bad weather  but always found things to do and places to see.

Have a nice day everyone and take care,

Hi Vicky love...  So glad to hear you had a lovely day with the family,it’s nice to hear that Oliver is well, and i do hope he stays that way....
I hope you get to Gosport next week a break will do you good, fingers crossed the weather picks up for you...

So sorry to hear about your troubles Margaret, the pain phils going through, and the strain its putting on your self. I agree with Scouse a chair lift would be very helpful.  If not a bed down stairs, if room allows.

Can’t say we are enjoying this holiday the weathers not been very kind and building a resort between two main roads and a railway line beats me. The noise with me having tinitus doesn’t bother me one little bit but its keeping Yvonne awake most of the night. I think we will be cutting our holiday short there is no point in staying just for the hell of it. Going to hot Tenerife as spoilt us where we could just laze around and do nothing if we wished.

The sun came out and now covered again I think my next post will be from home bye for now.

Hi Hugh... i am so sorry to hear your holiday isn’t going too well.i know the weather makes a big difference, and in this country you just can’t rely on it,the weather for may has been horrible so far, lets hope it gets beeter very soon, cos it affects my mood when it’s cold and wet,i have so much that needs doing in the garden but who wants to be out in the cold and wet?

i hope it bucks up today,it’s nice here in Bury but chilly....

Good evening all from warm and sunny Mansfield. To think 52f Pine lakes 61f here in Rainworth. No more UK holidays for us I am going to get nice and bored in hot sunny Tenerife. Truth is we have many friends out there so we are never lost for company. All the resort staff know us and look after us. All in all we have a good time.

Yvonne’s happy that she can have a nice sleep away from noisy trains and lorries.
And I am happy I can get back to my golf

PS don’t mind rain as long as its the warm stuff.

alright Hugh, I know the feeling, We have mates in Salou, Barcelona, Berlin & Maastricht although we haven’t seen our Cloggie mates for a few years now & I doubt if we will again as I’m passed driving the couple of hundred miles on European roads but we still keep in touch. It’s nice to know that you’ve got mates where ever you go.

A situation may be desperate but never serious
