Hello Harry we were in the company with Ark Royal 1965 and spent 72 days going round in tiny circles off Africa on the oil embargo while Ark Royal was broke down in harbour. Who got all the credit in UK Ark bloody Royal. After that spell the captain was told he could take the ship to any port to allow the lads to unwind but our captain refuse and said he wanted to do more exercises. He cleared everyone off the upper decks and took the ship into Subic bay harbour American base at the time and back out again so he could have the exercises in their waters. Great for our Captain he had his wife on a tanker which was with us most of the time. Won’t mention his name but he was related to our Queen.

Afternoon all. This morning it was a really warm start to the day, this afternoon it is pis*ing down and cold.Unbelievable.

It looks like you nearly missed us sailing Colum.Harry said to leave you on the dock side so he could have your share of grub.

Still not good news as regards Phil Margaret.I mean, not been able to help you Iron is quite a let down.
But lets pray that his new brace will be a help to overcome the problem.

Now my Canadian sweetheart, for ten grand I will swim to Canada and look after all your needs, take Bandit for walkies, and make sure your staff behave themselves, while you enjoy your trip to Aussie land.

Okay Scouse, settle down now old pal, ignore the baiters.I don’t want to post on the offending thread as it is not worthy.I have no more to say on the subject.

Not seen my little Spitfire for quite awhile. Are you still with us?

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.
