Pamela I loved the bit about every girl needing an adoring daddy and Granpa, that whats been missing all my life as I had neither.

Vicky, I’m sorry  to hear that.  I had a wonderful grampa but my ’father’ left a lot to be desired!

Gramps, who came from a family of farmers, lied about his age in order to join the army in 1914 and spent the next 4 years in France. Luckily he survived and I spent most of my childhood, when not in school, clued to his side. Probably the happiest days of my life. I still miss him and really look forward to the day that I can throw my arms around him again.

As for the ’father’,  sometimes it may be better if  they were not around.  Physical abuse always hits the headlines but mental, emotional and psychological abuse doesn’t get enough attention.

Sorry if I got a bit carried away there.

Give a man an inch.........and he thinks he’s a ruler.

Hello everyone, I’ve had an early night as I’m feeling a bit tired. I had a good journey home and got to the stations in plenty of time so had no rushing about.

I only had one  problem I  booked my tickets online and when I went to get them at Manchester I put in my debit card I that I paid for the tickets with and the ref number I got in the email and out popped my two tickets. What I didn’t realise as that they were only my seat reservations and that I should then have pressed the button to print out my tickets.

When the ticket inspector checked them I also showed him the email I had printed out (luckily) with all the imformation about payment and the ref number and he said I would have to pay again.   :cry I did say I had no money on me and he said they would sort it out on the Edinburgh train so I feined sleep when the ticket inspector came round on that train and then handed over my seat reservation ticket when I went through the barriers at Aberdeen the guy did give it a double take but I just kept walking Didn’t fancy paying twice for the same journey.Someone up there must love me.

Going now to get some kip as I’m feeling a bit sleepy so will be back tomorrow to talk to you my lovelies.

Aspecial thanks to Margaret and Phil for their hospitality and for your kindness to me last week I throughly enjoyed myself and am ready for the next round of jobs I have in store before my holidays.

Also a big thanks to Harry for entertaining me on Wednesday we had a grand time and as always you were a PERFECT  gentleman, you sure know how to treat a woman

Better go as my battery is about to run out.

Love to you all June
