Winners none, losers, all who use this site.

I would have thought that the moderators may have applied the lock, before it gets too out of hand.

I’m not taking sides but the last four pages have started to fall to a new low, and no one person is to blame. It’s a collective responsibility.

Time to wrap it up and put it to bed.

It’s Forces Reunited not Disunited.

Is that Liverpudlian semantics Scouse?

What is it about George’s "I would like to see his military record" and my reply to that effect that you don’t understand? It’s late, I know, but for you I’d be explain!

You’re struggling here mate, and getting precisely nowhere!

Alright Colin, As you don’t know the difference between a question & a wish or request it’s a good job you’ve got a Scouser around to teach you.

You really do need an English teacher or is your "but for you I’d be explain!" some kind of Kiwi gibberish? & you have the cheek to correct Georges spelling.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

Alright Colin, Your a bit late there mate, you should have spoken up after post one page four when our tame ’Troll’ started to weave his little magic spell to destroy the thread.

Hhhmmm!!!!

I presume that George’s offensive post has been reported by now???? I go to bed between days so I have not had time to do it!
There is a whole heap serious crap in this thread over the past few pages, pursued by long served members who should know better.
I have no interest in calls for Colin Hall’s military record but given the fact that, on the rare occasions George rears his head above the parapet, it is generally to voice some banal, pointless one liner I believe that it is past time that he was shown the sin bin.
Please! No more excuses about elderly members not needing to be responsible for their posting. I destroyed that ethic a long time ago!

Everyone (including myself) probably excluding Roly, who has posted in the tail end of this thread has said and will say things that grossly irritate other members.
Colin Hall is a master of the genre. However, when another chooses to remark upon that, in the fashion that George has elected to do so, they need to be very sure that they are squeaky clean.

There is much more to this but I have to do a little of what I am paid for, now and again and although crushing egos is enjoyable, I am on a schedule.

When I said "It’s a collective responsibility", I include in that collective all but about two posters on this thread. I don’t include myself in the two. Name calling I stopped in junior school.
