Identifying a uniform

Hey all, I am trying to find a WW11 serviceman. His name was William Mcewen/Mcewan and he served witht he Royal Scots guards in 1942/43  and was based in London for a time. Not sure of his service number but know that he was a sargeant and carried three stripes on his uniform. There are a load of trophies in his pic. Just wondering if anyone could help me identify the trophies and uniform. thanks heaps.. Helen

Helen it might help members if there was a picture of either the trophies or the uniform.

Sorry Eddie, the image is there, but in the War Records Forums, for an unknown reason the image access has not carried over to the Full Forums.

Here is the image:

Identifying a uniform

I thought they might have been trophies for boxing
Also the insignia above the stripes looks very much like a crown making him a staff sergant maybe.
