When we smoked we did it on buses, trains, cinemas, in fact just about everywhere, but we did it IN PEACE with nobody interfering, but now because you’ve managed to stop you get the holier than thou attitude and condemn the people who do smoke. Smokers who are invited into my home have the freedom to smoke if they wish(so far no one has) but the offer of an ashtray is there if it’s needed. I think some of you ex smokers need to come down off your high horse and remember when you were the ones who were blowing all the smoke around, it’s not something you can conveniently sweep under the carpet because you don’t do it any more, so i think a bit less criticism of smokers is called for. When it comes to chest problems my father died from collapsed lungs but it wasn’t from smoking, they were full of coal dust as he was a coal miner.

Well said ,Maureen love! Good timing too, as I was about to rip someone a new one....
Obviously smoking didn’t affect your rational thinking and social courtesies as you are clearly saying it like it is, that you are normal. Very few of us left, Maureen..
Steve requested we stop talking about smoking, i understand that, on the plane, i am all geared up to not even think about it, and some idiot states AGAIN, may we remind you this is a non smoking flight......duh, there are NO smoking flights anymore!
Now we have Dr Don Knight, photocopying medical information verbatim from a copy and paste.......
