You can pick up the phone to ring me as well Margaret..... If you get me on the phone, then please let me know. Everybody rings me according to them and they say I do not answer!!!!
Just coming up to 0630 and a very misty morning and cold with it. Its lovely this time of the year with the mists from the water catchments being warmer than the outside air temperature it gives an eeery feel to the views.
Forgot to put the dog out when I went to bed last night, so it ended up sleeping under my bed.
As long as her owner does not find out.
Have a safe trip home Harry and good to hear that you are getting on top of yourself. Keep getting fitter mate. It helps to pass the day and does not cost you so much for the food.
Tis Monday, Easter Monday to boot, so nobody will be in a hurry to get to work. All the traffic from the ’terrorists’ will develope around lunchtime and they all leave the coast and head home to end their weekend. (Thanks for the cash you all left behind and please leave the country cleaner than you found it....Take your rubbish home!)
I have a bit more washing to hang out to dry today and then I can go back to the caravan with all clean blankets and bedding. . I will be going that way, probably on Wednesday. when I go to the bank. .
Catch you all later and take care of yourselves.

Alright Each & All, We have just had a pleasant evening, Our Jackie, Smudge & little Jenny Wren came over for Sunday dinner. Our Jenny Wren was a treat, she only had eyes for her ’Grumps’ but who could blame her. Unfortunately the night was too short our Jenny got very tired so the crowd had to vanish home at 2200 to get her to bed, I must do something about the Wrens staying power, she does enjoy a few drops of red wine (literally a few drops from a dripper thingy-ma-bob) but I must get work to on her on Becks appreciation.

Harry, Have a good trip home me auld mate, it’s was great seeing you, mind you I will have to have words about you our Sandie she was nearly in tears when she saw how well you look now!!!!! I’ve got a cold.....everyone knows that’s fatal ..... what do I get.....nowt.....pistols at dawn name your second.

Jacky, We hope you’re feeling better me auld mate it was gear seeing you again (notice the Scouseism) next time make it longer, you can’t get enough of good company.

Margaret, Could you tell Phil that our Jenny Wren had rods on her spine to correct her curvature, it was a serious op but the effect is unbelievable go for it me auld mate. As for the music shucks you’re turning a young(ish) lads head.

Vicky, I like the looks of your silly bubble thingy-ma-bob I will nick it & try it out.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

Good morning from a wet cold New Forest, typical bank holiday really.

We had a great day yesterday with the family. Craig had a wasted day at the hospital on Wednesday last week as the consultant looked at his notes and said we cant do anything utnil we have seen the scan which St Thomas’s hospital in London had not sent to Pompey. To make matters worse they were going to have to wrie and request them as they dont communicate on a computer system. What a farce.

Scouse you are very welcome to nic the recipe, hope you enjoy it. Hope the man flu goes soon.

Jacky you must be very proud of your grandsons.

June Lauren must be feeling rough, hope she is better soon.

Roly we were driving through the forest the other day and saw a bag of rubbish that had been thrown out of a passing car. Why do people do it, as Ian said we live in a beautiful are why cant people be more thoughtful and take their rubbish home especially as it can cause injuries to the roaming livestock.

I dont have to cook today as Ian is taking me out to the local Indian restaurant which is very good tonight.

Have a nice day everyone and take care.

Congratulate another baby born today around midday Eastern Australian time. Not sure of sex as Mother is hyper protective. Both seem well. Rang owner and he surprised it born so soon.
The second time I have had a calf born while housesitting at this residence.
Just been into town and had a few beers to celebrate. Hopefully another will be born this week.
Been a long day with me watching for the birth and also drying and folding all my washing. All done for now and want to get back to the caravan to store the gear until I move back at the end of May.
Cooking pasta for tea and the dog is going to get a large helping of mince and tatties. Left overs from last night.  She had a meaty bone earlier and has also seen off her biscuits.
Lots of baby Tom tomatoes on this property and have picked a whole bunch and a whole basket of Cherry tomatoes. I will take them to a friends house tomorrow to help feed them.
Far to many growing wild for me to eat and do  not like to see them go to waste.
Will come back later as tea waiting.
