A bit of a stuff up. I cleared from the caravan this morning and came out to the farm and arrived just after lunch after a liesurly drive.
They seemed surprised to see me despite me ringing them this morning and telling them I was arriving today.
I am not due here until tomorrow. Anyway, Hugh and Chris have made me welcome and given me a bed for the night.
Have been washing cars and farm machinery and helping out in the yard. Not many head of cattle this time, but two or three calving expected while they are away.
Sun is now setting and the birds were having a panic attack, so we knew that a snake was around. Found it in a bush. It is a baby carpet python and is sleeping off a meal coiled in a ball. I have a photo. Lovely looking creature.
Will be in tomorrow to tell you more.
Take care all.

Good morning everyone, it is a lovely sunny day but cold, there was a hard frost last night.

A quiet day on here yesterday. Margaret must be recovering and getting her strength back after the last few weeks with Patricia.

June doing the usual charging around like there is no tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the cheesecake recipe’s, the mars bar one is bit hard to mix but tastes lovely.

Roly go careful with the snakes, dont want you getting bitten by a nasty one. How are you at calf midwifery???

Raymond we would be delighted to see you if you have time when you are over here.

Jasons girlfriend cant make it this sunday as she has t go to her Nan’s. I am going to make a treacle tart, flapjacks and a chocolate cake and anything left will be taken home by Steve and Jason.

Ian has gone off sailing this morning so I have a clear day.

Have a nice day everyone and take care.
