The Top Job

It’s Roger for me too - after all I couldn’t really say anything else could I as some of you will know from previous threads?

We’ll probably not end up with John Sentamu, the outstanding candidate (after Roger), but some one who will hopefully be a bit more down to earth than  Rowan Williams.

I think it proves that it isn’t necessarily the cleverest one academically who is the best for any given job.

TC.

I doubt very much if Williams was from this planet, he is so far divorced from reality.

He is, in fact, living proof of the failure of academia to create real people.

I see his final tour, before retirement is to New Zealand. Now there’s a note for my diary!

Given the timing of this anouncement, I would not be surprised, if the new Archbishop was an avid supporter of gay marriages.
