Quoting: Mike Pass

Apparently these are a splinter group of the Judean Peoples Front.

I beg to differ Mike, i think it is the Peoples Front of Judea.

If the Rev. gets the governers  job perhaps he could use his influence so that we could have a Church built in Pakistan that is higher than any other building and have the locals to take away anything that is Muslim or religious so as not to offend the minority Christians.

The top job

If by some miracle, I was given the job of ArchB, there would be some changes made.
1. The entry fees to our cathedrals would be dropped. I do not believe it right to get people to pay to enter a church.
2.Clergy would not wear ’costume’, so no more dressing up.
3. Dawn French would be ordained so she is a proper vicarette and would take over MP’s parish church where the communion would be chocolate wafers.
4. Anyone caught on TV blaspheming - like one J. Clarkson, would have to buy everyone on FR a pint of best bitter as his penance.
I am sure many more changed would be made.

Including, presumably a name change for Mike’s Splinter Group, which will become Sphincter Group in line with current Church Policy?

The Top Job

I’m afraid our hero, Rev Roger won’t be in with a chance unless he publishes his manifesto, and this must contain proposals that will appeal to the great unwashed. Banning the clergy’s frocks won’t work, because they often cover a multitude of sins. We don’t want to sit in church looking at the vicar’s wobbly bits. Maybe ’see-through’ cassocks might be acceptable.

I have just noticed that another job has just been posted on the board - Coptic Pope. The uniform is brilliant, but I don’t think the pay is up to much!
