F106 is correct, have you any idea what`s happening in the picture?
As a clue it`s not just dumping.

They are creating a reef, with the assistance of the dumped frames of the 106s’ and probably other kit.

I happened to get stuck at Hickham [Hawaii] air base some years ago when the resident air defence was the F106

A great idea but a sad end for the "sexy six" as it was called.

You were lucky Colin I`ve never seen an F-106 either flying or on the ground. Love that plane.

Now known as BAE systems where the Hawk was built,but after nearly 100 years,is about to be closed,throwing many skilled men out of work.
