War Graves Desecrated.

During the second world war Monty and the  Eigth Army helped to liberate Lybia. Lots of Army  and Airforce lads were killed and buried there.
Under two years ago the R.A.F. helped the Rebels againnst Gaddafi.
Now the Rebels, amonst others have smashed the Gravestones and Monuments of those men who gave their lives. In Bensazi there are graves / stones to over 1,000 men who died in local battles against Rommel and his troops. These have been smashed to bits.

This is a disgrace especially after the British have helped these rebels to get rid of their Dictator,it makes you wonder why we bothered with these rebels after all the help they received--that`s gratitude for you.

No suprise really, WW2 doesn’t mean a great deal to young Libyans, especially if they are of the Muslim Brotherhood. We’re all infidels in their eyes.

So we got rid of Ghadaffi, so what, has it changed anything, not really. Cost us a fortune in aviation fuel, bombs, general logistics etc. and for what ?

Dave doing a Blair and trying to make his mark on the world stage, interfering again. We never learn, or should I say politicians never learn, always on their own ego trip.

So Iraq is sorted (what a joke) Afghan will never be sorted (a military tragedy) sooner or later Dave  or his successors will find another war to become involved in and off we go again.

At least during the Cold War we knew which way the enemy was coming from and there’d have been no need for headstones, we’d all have fried in a nuclear Armageddon.

The Cynical Sod.
