Hi Ray,

I think you rather missed Roly’s humour in his remarks.  He’s not calling anyone so I think, with all respect, you ought to just lighten up.  We old buggers who’ve been around on here for a while all know him and he’s NEVER nasty.

TC.

Thank you TC for the defense mate. Never fear, but Ray and I love the same sheep. He is not bad at having a go at me. I dont mind!.
I believe he stole a bottle of what he thought of as Bunderberg rum from me. In fact it was a urine sample awaiting transit to the specialist.
Not as bad lad for a South Australian.
He got his own back by threatening to send me some rain. It arrived in tanker loads/hour. Now I am surrounded by mud and mould.
Hope yer well mate?

dear terry. thanks for your remarks on the reparte between  roly and myself, Ithink Roly and I have a GOOD  understanding of  each others humour, I have never read a post from him that has given me cause to think otherwise,my reason for postiing an apology to roly, was because personaly thought that i had stepped over the line regarding :sending him ship loads of rain" not knowing that he was possibly in strife with the weather ,and on reflection thought it ut of order" hence the apology. Iregard him as a friend, and hope he feels the same.about me. every body needs freinds  and  I hope that you are one of mine? yours sincerely ray ps roly lives about 2000 kms away from me and news from the ouyback takes time to filter through unless there is a major disaster.

Now I am befuddled Ray. You have me beat! First you moan because I sorted the rum(or should that be seeded? Now you are sending me an apology? This I will not accept and if I can get hold of one of TC’s fast blacks (The colour of the horses that he uses in his charriot) I will be down your way in about a thousand years to sort you out. No, I will not bring the legion with me as they want to much pay!
Now I will go to the local ale house in Mapleton to dally with the bar wenches while I consume many ales to cool my anger.
