The charts (DTD-Days to do or Grip sheet in the RAF) were just a bit of fun and as I recall, were generally only used for an airman’s first, unaccompanied overseas tour. Most of these were chosen to ’beat’ into said erk the fact that life is not a bowl of cherries. That said, all of those tours, Gan, Bahrain, Sharjah, Masirah etc could all be turned into one big holiday with the diversion of the odd bit of work every so often.
I do not remember anyone making a chart because they were so angry about being there!!
