Good morning all on a very windy day.

Hello Mike. the CF will miss you, and you miss the CF so I have a strong feeling you will be dipping in your pocket again.

Not sure if getting  cold and soak is enjoying golf
Colum. We just won’t allow the weather to beat us. In future I will be wearing my water proof trouser if its cold or any chance of rain. Its suprising I haven’t got a cold after yesterday.

Back to see the doc tomorrow I have the first signs of bowel cancer, the chances are its not, but as its very common in my age group, so having it check out is just common sense.

Shopping done for one week thankgoodness.

Back to golf now, on telly that is,

Good afternoon all from a very sunny but cold and blustery Ballymena.

Common sense to get yourself checked out Hugh even its just for reassurance - i have my fingers crossed for you.

You must be bulding up golfers immunity from the cold and wet but a souwester and heavy rubber trousers are the thing.

Hi Roly m8 glad to see you are not missing the lunchtime sessions.  You can only drink so much tea though .

Stay out of the garden Vicky and relax and read a book.  I do hope Ian does a good deal.

I am glad to see Steven is on the up and up - i suppose you will have cakes etc just in case he does show up in the new car.

I hope he has lots of happy miles in it.

No word about Harry yet.   I am thinking positive.

Margaret where are you.

All for now take car Colum.

Half the world population is Oirish and the other half wish they were. Colum.

Good news today so far....i had a text,Harry is feeling better, they have got him out of bed so it sounds as if he is on the road to recovery,

Good morning all the Family and to all in sick Bay, come along now, take your medicine and lets have a little arm and leg exercise on the bed to build up strength.

Mike, you handsome rogue, no comment on that statement !!

Orders of the Day Family,

Sick Bay Report;
on Harry  from Matron (Margaret)
on Jacky from Ward Sister (Patricia)

Daily Rehab report
On Sandie’s progress  by Scouse
On Glenda’s knee  by Mike

Anyone else reporting sick please add name.

Family reports always a good read!

Sunny and -15 c today and I am going shopping as soon as I have had my hot tub and brekky!
I didn’t get yesterday as Tony was working so we are going today.
But I did ’help’ Tricia put the final touches to downstairs like the decanters and the Japanese gong, for’ time gentlemen please’ and the Queens Portrait of course. Well I unpacked the boxes and she ran around placing things for Justin to put up on Monday.!
I am on my feet at last and managed all day, i was up and down the stairs a few times and sorted other boxes in the wine cellar and noticed I need a new order of wine. Must get that done right away.

Tricia left about 2 pm, House all nice and clean and then Had Scotch pie and Peas and gravy for Lunch c a slice of hungarian bread and butter, (no sugar in it).
Delicious.

Later on I Had to order Martini and Le Piat D’or  red wine from ’Good cheer’ a delivery service as I was out!!!!!
Cupboard full of liqour and fridge full of beers, but I don’t drink that sort.

Then John next door delivered my logs and I sorted and  dressed his foot (ingrowing toenail) and then I set my log fire on, (hurt my pinkie finger)  got that sorted and settled down with a Martini and watched ’War Horse’. fantastic movie.
Plenty of tears!! great!.

Then Bandit said time for bed, so off we went. It was a good day in all, good news on Harry so I will keep it up today and get myself going again!

It is 9.00 am now and time for my hot tub, so that’s all the news so far, I shall check in for follow up posts  later.

Love to all, have a great day, please.

Hello Margaret & Colum not a problem with my health as yet I have had signs which could be of many things. When anyone gets to 70 years plus should take bowel cancer signs very seriousy. It can be easily cured if found in the early stages. I will be at the health centre by 0800 and I will be able to see the doctor tomorrow morning. Can’t say I am going to enjoy the experience

Got down to my target weight this morning 11st 13  lbs. Just in time to go on holiday, to it all back on again. mutter mutter.

To morrows going to a nice day so they say, a one off before the weather turns again. Doctor 0900 fingers crossed, golf course by 1000 which sounds a good plan.
