Morning all.Still loitering Colum.I am beginning to have a niggling thought that this shower has renewed my membership with my card details without my permission,as it is nearly two weeks since they stated the plug was going to be pulled.I will not know this untill my card statement comes, and if they have, then they will get words worse then "Clown" that they accused me of.

My thoughts are with our good friend Harry today, and hoping that all is well for him.have you got contact with Harry’s son Kevin, Margaret, and if so,please let us know how things are if or when you do.

Bloody hell Roly,I would have thought wearing a skirt would be the last thing you would want to do with your legs.Watch out for those funny little animals you have over in Australia running up your legs and nibbling at the nuts.

Look forward to your call my little Spitfire, but don’t think you can take advantage, and talk dirty to me.

Nice to see that you have taken a bit of your own advice Patricia, and kicked the work into touch. Now that leaves me to follow suit.

Good news for Sandie Scouse, might even cut down on your fags seeing you have had cancel the ciggy run.All the best to her old pal.

I told you that this chasing a little white ball around in crap weather is no good for keeping calm Hugh.Take up draughts,it is a much calmer pass time.

Seems like you are fully stocked up with your car Gerrard, incase of emergencies, hope things have settled down for you with the shakes.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

Good afternoon all and believe it or not its still raining.

Have a baby sitting stint this afternoon but just for a couple of hours until bens dad picks him up for boys brigade.

Just to clear one point up haha - my mates on facebook seem to think that i go back to bed every day - this is NOT true as once i am up i stay up.

This is just to wind up the working classes who have to venture out in all the rain.

Good to see you are still with us Mike - if admin did take a years sub with out your permission I am sure there are grounds to get it back.

All for now take care Colum.

Half the world population is Oirish and the other half wish they were. Colum.

Good afternoon family from a wet wet wet bury...bloody awful....

i was missing yesterday,it was "one of those days" we had stuff delivered from the council to help phil with his immobility,(looking more like an old folks home here) Ryan was here all day so i was what you might call up to my eyes in it...

Harry should be having his op. as i type,he was due down about 11 ish,he texted me from the day room last night, the food was awful

Mike Kevin is going to ring when they know anything,so i will keep you informed as i find out... he is in all our prayers today....
Well i for one am glad you are still here, they wont pull the plug till Feb.if that’s when your membership is up .hahahaha wouldn’t it be funny if they forgot about you and kept you online all year...
Yes it’s time you got your feet up and came off the coal face too....i can see you now having a draughts knock out league with Glenda

Colum love,if you want to spend all day in bed then you are at liberty to do just that, your time is your own.... but i know you don’t.... you are a wind up merchant....
I am sorry to hear about Bridies brother,i hope he is free from too much pain, god bless him and his family...

Hi Roly love, please please please don’t go commando.. spare my blushes please...and more than that spare yours....
You have a packed diary for the next few months and some travelling to go with it,i can’t keep up with you now so i haven’t a chance of keeping up with you in the next few months...
Phil is a tryer there is no doubt, the medics have their work cut out,but where there’s life there’s hope, and me!! he’s doing ok and we take each day as it comes, what gives you the immpression i shout at him? would i?

Hi Vicky love, did you have a nice day yesterday? i bet you did, I will have Harry’s doggie bag please,he wont be needing one for a while..i could just eat some three bird roast and all the veg followed by apple crumble AND some cake AND some ice cream....
i have a disc with some kindle books on to download, there are hundreds,it’s easy to put them on too....
So you will have the boat to sit and look at next week,at least you wont have Ian under your feet,he will be outside being busy... take care love

Will be back in later,it’s time for a bite to eat, sorry i haven’t spoke to everyone but i will catch you soon....

Good afternoon all on this rather damp day hope every one’s keeping well.

Hello Mike have you check your profile to see if you are down as Alto Renew. They did with me but I spotted it and changed it.

Got to admit draughts would be less tressfull but wouldn’t give me the exercise one needs at my age. Just got to keep at it and work up to better standard. I keep thinking I am not making any progress but only got to look back a few short months and I was scoring 90 on a 9 hole par 3.(100 to 200metres) Now I am scoring around 68 on a full course (150m to 450m). The best I can hope for at my age just below 50 for 9 holes. With an handicap of 28 should beable to compete.

Give Harry my regards if you get in touch with him Margaret.

Morning all, well it’s morning down here!

Mike, when ever I say the ground has settled we get another round of shakes.
This morning’s wake up call:

Reference Number: 3645734
NZDT: Sat, Jan 21 2012 1:08 am
Magnitude: 4.2
Depth: 11 km
Details: 20 km south-west of Christchurch

I suppose that’s the problem with moving to a new country, as far as pre historic land formations go. The ground is still settling. We have two extinct volcanoes nearby, hope they don’t wake up!! Things have never been the same since we seperated from Australia.

Yes Vicky, it’s nice to take a break from work. I still have a few weeks leave up my sleeve, won’t be long before my next holiday.  Might as well take them while it’s still warm. Good practice for retirement:-)
Lately, I haven’t done anything about moving apart from window shopping on the ’net and real estate magazines.

Hugh, we have quite a few golf courses around here. I’ve picked one at random to give an idea of typical green fees. I don’t know how they compare to The Old Country.

Watched a DVD last night, Day of The Jackal, the original Edward Fox version. I remember seeing it years ago and despite knowing how it ends it kept me out of trouble for a couple of hours.

Nothing else happening for now, have a nice day.
