Good afternoon all on this very cold wet day. Had to have a drop of famous grouse in my coffee to warm me up.

Colum congratulations on being a grandad again. Yvonne and I will never become true gran parents Both my sons believe children are great as long as you can give them back or it could be the fact that both sets of our parents left the small amount of wealth they had to their gran children.
but still Molly and Calum make up for our loss.

Christmas shopping completed now thank goodness although there will I expect be some thing we have missed.

Soon be time for me to pick up Molly from school but still one more day and the Christmas school holidays start.

Hope you are keeping well Harry and every one in the family

Hello everyone I have just got back from Aberdeen and am cream crackered Managed to get most of what I wanted and will get the rest on Wednesday when I take Macy for her trim   I got a phone call from work to do a pair of curtains before Christmas so if the price is right

Fogot to get my bulbs for the tree so will have to go out again to get some

Ellon was manic this morning the three primary schools walked to the car park beside the river and there was three camels all decked out and thier owners all dressed up. It was a sight to behold the children were all excited and the Christmas music had me giving a little dance but number 1 daughter (Julie) was not in the same party spirit as me and I got a LOOK that spoke volumes ( We can’t all be perfect )
I commented to a lady I knew how the music was putting me in the christmas spirit and she was either on the same medication as Julie or she was Scrouges sister, her face would have cracked if she had smiled Ba Humbug

Harry I hope you got on fine today Big hugs to be taken three times a day and more supplied on request

Going now to have a cuppa and then go out for the bliddy bulbs(hope I don’t meet Mrs Scrouge

Love to you all  June

Hello June - my wee bundle of joy has made christmas for me I am so happy.

Blessings to be counted one by one - a song coming on their.

I dont think i have stopped smiling - peeps will think i am crazy - so what.

World is too full of scrooges spreading doom and gloom.  Nothing a few wee powers wouldnt cure.

Do take it easy and dont do the work if the price is not right/

A good dose of hugs from me as well Harry.

Hello Hugh our schoold dont break up till friday so i will gewt downtown tomorrow before the chaos starts.  I love to see happy kids.

Hi Mike was up seeing the babby there and she is beautiful just like her grandad.  And a head of hair you wouldnt believe. They hope to get home tomorow.  I told mammy if they want her to stay to do so and get lots sof rest while she has the chance.

No one else around.

Half the world population is Oirish and the other half wish they were. Colum.

I am back from Brighton after a lovely weekend with all the family apart from Steven who was working. He has got his old job back in Poundland and I am so pleased for him.

We are now going to Craigs for Christmas Day and Boxing Day as Jason said to his Mum and Dad it wouldnt be a proper Christmas without Grandma and Grandad, isnt that lovely.

Congratulations Colum on your lovely new Grandaughter Aalayah, how lovely for you all, I bet Darren and Linzi are over the moon.

Margaret things still not going right for you and Phil, how did he get on at the Dr’s?

Scouse thanks for the Christmas card, give Sandie my love and hope you all have a lovely Christmas.

Harry have you been chatting up our tornado?

Hugh my daughter flies to Los Chrisitanos on Boxing Day, they have hired an apartment for a week. Our Grandaughter who is 18 decided to stay at home, but she is sensible so I hope she will be ok, they have lots of friends to keep an eye on her. She does waitressing at the local golf club at the weekend and she also plays there.

It is good to be back, I didnt look at a PC while I was away and now have lots to catch up on.

Good morning to all and hope that you had a great day. Now get to bed and catch up on your beauty sleep, as you all look knackered to me.!
Long lazy day yesterday. Did not go out at all.
I sat on the computer for a couple of hours and then wandered out to the garden and ended up weeding, watering, picking and generally having fun. Ended up last night with sunburnt face and back of the neck, a sore back and the backs of the legs hurt as well. Just proves how fit I am???????
Went to bed early last night, around 9pm and slept like a log til 5am this morning. Back still a bit sore, but I will live.
Must go into town today to friends to give away the masses of tomatoes that I picked. I cannot use them all. They are the little Tom variety, sweet as can be and just pop a couple in the mouth and feel the fresh taste as they pop in the palate.
Friday will be the day that I do a little shop just to top up on the small items for the weekend. A case of beer and a bottle of rum would not go astray. Was going to mates for Christmas Dinner, but he and his wife have to go to Gladstone to do a couple of days work at a gas pipeline over the Christmas period while the works are closed for the week. Big money. Thats fine, I will just stay in the grounds of the house and ring all the kids and grandkids and friends in Ozz. Cannot afford to ring you all in UK so I will be on the computer while you await Santa’s arrival.
I wandered out into the garden a few moments ago as the dogs were having a bit of a bark. Two sweet faced wallabies were by the fence chewing on the dew dampened grass. Came inside for the camera, but they had dissapeared by the time I got outside. Really pretty little things.
OK. Now my mind has been distracted, I will go and get some brekkie for me and the dogs. Have a good sleep and take care, stay safe.

Consult the veteran, not the incompetent Politicians.
