There are some very interesting comments on this subject and one has to respect writers’ comments even though you might disagree. I personally have to agree with what Steve Greenwood wrote about the Germans causing the mayhem in the two World Wars. British people suffered through these wars not only during the Wars but between and post-World War 2.
The German and Austrian people loved Hitler as seen on the many newsreels prior to the outbreak of World War 2.  The same people who threw flowers and kisses to Hitler’s mob, denounced him when the war was lost.
Germany ruined mine and your parents’ lives and that should not be forgotten at the least by my generation. Well done Steve Greenwood for holding your corner.

Hhhmmm!!!!

Sorry, got to leave this thread now as it is turning surreal!!!!

Steve, I did just that (learned much about the French) that is why my argument is sound.

Alan, do you believe in X Factor and Santa as well????
I could make you a video tomorrow that seems to show thousands of people singing my praises but the reality is that I would quite easily ’cut’ to suit myself.

We are moving from factual (given the different povs) to personal preference now, so, for that reason......I’m out!

That, however, I totally agree with.........for Britain’s sake.

Until someone cuts a Scouse post and reposts it as a quote, I don’t get to see it, for obvious reasons. That’s because he’s on my "ignore’ list !

You need to hear the opinions/views of others a bit more mate, instead of using that ignore button of yours......and sitting too long in front of that TV doesn’t help either you know.

Will some one cut a post....and make my day.

Morality is doing what’s right regardless of what you’re told. Obedience is doing what you’re told regardless of what’s right....What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right.
