Just maybe you provide some more information before collectively throwing your hands in the air and rubbishing the site.
Just last week i asked help to find a W.W.1 sailor, i gave his name and number and was directed to a site that gave me his civilian occupation, where he lived, date of enlistment, every ship he sailed on and the date of his discharge (invalided out) This info was instant and only cost £3.50.
