Interesting also to note that when the guardians of our health, the MP’s voted for the smoking ban, they ensured that palaces were exempt, which enabled them to have a smoking room in Westminster.
I would repeat my previous point, Smoking is not good for you, this I think we can all agree on, and is, no doubt, a factor in many illnesses, as is carbon emissions, stress, alchohol, enviroment, obesity, lack of exercise etc.
However we have seen over the years, given the way the data is presented by the non smoking lobby, and backed by the BMA and Liberal elite, a fanatical response, to present people who smoke, as lepers, which is indicative of the way our society is being manipulated through the media, primarily the BBC. We have seen an example of this fanaticism, over the last week in respect of an alleged racist remark, time was when common sense was applied. we are now sadly a nation of the offended.
The interpretation of the data collected, and the way it is presented, can of course show what ever results the interested parties want, to a greater or lesser degree, as with the climate change lobby.
