What you have to remember Fred is that if we had been unfortunate enough to have had another Labour win they would still be spending money they didn’t have, borrowing money they should not have had to borrow and would have had to make cuts they shouldn’t have had to make if they hadn’t dropped us in the mire over their last three administrations.

This situation hasn’t just happened because of the present lot or over the time since the last election.  The Tories are at least trying to do something about it.  If there is no money then something has to go.  Try thinking back more than a few months and recalling who is mainly responsible.
TC.

Alright Terry, So true I mean just look at the £1.4bn Labour pumped into Northern Rock to save it. Thank goodness the Toris have more business acumen than them, they have managed to sell it off for £747m WELL DONE Osborne you have only manged to lose over 3/4 of a billion pounds. I bet Branson is glad he made A ’voluntary’ contribution to Tory funds after being told that if he;

   "scratched their back they would scratch mine it was made clear that either you were a friend of the party or you were not a friend of the party.... Obviously friends would benefit. Clearly, donating was important."

A situation may be desperate but never serious

Stop the cuts

Hey, lets not leave out the other politicians.... Lib Dems, Scots Nats, Plaid Cymru & Independents.

Cuts we should be making:
MP’s pay and perks by at least 60%
The number of MP’s by 50%
MPs advisers by 90%
Payments to Brussels for the ’privilege’ of being in the EU: 100%

We ruled most of the world 100 years ago with aprox. 200 M.Ps. and now today we rule nothing with over 600 M.P.s.

Alright John, Once again you haven’t done your homework! In 1800 the number of MPs was increased from 558 to 658, where did you get the number 200 from?

A situation may be desperate but never serious
