if any one looks at my profile photo ,canthey tellme why it is only showing half a picture i have tried erasing it but with no luck having foolowed all the instructions.:crazy:

Hhhmmm!!!

Maurice, I have seen this error before, both here on FR and on other sites.
However, if you have correctly resized a photo for avatar use and followed the site instructions correctly there should not be problem. You do not need to ’erase’ or delete the current one as a replacement will do that automatically.
Please start again with you profile editing and monitor your steps when changing your avatar photo. It is difficult to give a defined answer, not being able to see what you are actually doing.
Maybe another member has a foolproof method for you?!

The image information shows the image as being 184px × 200px (scaled to 80px × 100px).

Did you scale it?

Hi Murray,
The 80 x 100 is done by the forum avatar scaler, I think Maurice’s problem is a bad picture or  the forum resizer is not working properly for him, no matter what Dimension picture you start with, it would fit it in the frame although distorted and not leave half of it blank. my bet it is the picture at fault..

thanks for the tip Mike as you will see it has worked ,i am still learning how to use this piece of Technoligy also thanks to "some" members for their help !
