General summaries do the job for us here, Gerard and I have always preferred to hear from the horses mouth.
It would be best on another thread, though and CRAP would be suitable.

Mike, I have a DVD compiled by the NZ Herald, which I’d be happy to post to you, gratis, if you care to send me an address.

That would be very acceptable, Colin. Presumably you have lost my address that you used for the Air Show DVD.
See. P.M.

The EU seems to be in a hole and does not appear to have any way of extracting themselves.
The paragons of virtue and human rights seem to have reached an impasse on how to balance the books, they have tried various methods of bending the rules on how countries can remain in the federation, and having exhausted that avenue (financially), they have approached China for funding, this country has one of the worst records in the world for human rights abuse.
I fully expect that in future Chinas abuses will no longer be reported so widely.

It seems as though the instigators of the EU will go to any length to try and perpetrate the European Dream, and our political masters are quite happy to aquiesce.

We have a conservative cannine government being controlled by a liberal party tail.

The Tories would have been better advised to have tried to rule with a minority government.

In my view the labour supporters  (when they realised that their party was not going to be re-elected) who called for their members to vote Liberal, in an attempt to deny the Conservatives, are more than partly to blame for our present political dilemma.

I am not looking for argument, just stating the situation as I perceive it to be.

Meantime Germany and France rule Europe and we just wallow around on the outside, or is that just nearly on the inside.

The 81+ tory rebels can influence this administration, if only they have the courage and nerve.

Never say a humorous thing to a man who does not possess humour. He will always use it in evidence against you.
