Bit of help needed

Hi folks

Just had a request from a friend to see if we could help identify an old uniform.

It’s from WW1 and the cut looks British although I’m not sure about the one dark button, no identifying badges as far as I can see. Can anyone confirm if it is British uniform or one of our allies.

Thanks

Alex

Is there any way of getting a clearer image.

The shape of the cap badge is similar to that of the WW1 ’Tankers’.

Need a better image

Alright Alex, As Murray says the picture is a bit blured but I think the cap badge looks more like the Canadian Expeditionary Force that the RTR.

A situation may be desperate but never serious
