’A laughing stock world wide’ ? Can we presume that is Sefton Park to Lime Street?

Alright Pamela, Come on now love, even Albania has pulled all it’s own people out. I hardly think this debacle does us any credit or do you take pride in the fact that our people had to depend on foreign governments to extract them because the mighty brains in power couldn’t even organise two aircraft over a week after all the other countries were well into recue mode.

This is the first emergency this unelected government have had to face & not only have they shown their incompetence but have done so on the world stage holding us up to ridicule. To make matters worse Hague went on TV & blamed everyone else for his failure.

The words pissup, brewery, organise & couldn’t jump to mind.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

I hear on the news that the S.B.S. are to mount an operation to rescue some British oil rig workers from a place somewhere in the Libyan desert!
Erm, excuse me! What happened to covert operations?  Surely this would be seen as a provocative act, to send our troops into a situation that is volatile enough?
Mind you, this may be only an idea thought up by some journalist to get his name in lights.

Live long and prosper

Alright Steve, The SAS & the SBS don’t usually advertise their actions.

The first aircraft took off today with some of our people on it, was it supplied by HM Government, was it hell it was charted by the oil companies they succeed while this unelected government flounder.

I have just listened to Cameron on TV, he was whining on about it not being easy to arrange these things, other countries managed about a week ago, if they can’t manage to get two aircraft off the ground what the hell are they doing wrecking our country.

A situation may be desperate but never serious

The news said that the SBS were on stand-by.

This is a ruse at the front door while the infantry sneak in the back.

If the other countries were so good at removing their own out of Libya how the Scottish worker who is stranded in the Desert says that they have had to take in workers from a nearby camp. Out of approx 300, only 90 are Brits.
The rest are Germans and various other  nationalities.
