Good afternoon to all on O and B and hope you are well. Still hot and humid but no sign of the promised rain yet for the parched gardens and fields.
George - excellent photos from your garden, the arch looks great.

Vicky you could have our 5 squirrels, but they are such fun to watch. At the moment though we have about 6 young magpies that are coming down for food and frightening the squirrels off. I went out the other morning to put some bread in one of the bird feeders and there was a squirrel on top of the one bird house , when he saw me his tail was going , and he actually stamped his front paws on the bird house at me
still working even with my hand bandaged up, having it dressed every other day at the moment, the worst area of burn on the back of the hand looks awful , it is just like raw meat, so being very careful to look after it, going to take a long time to heal .
I have a day off tomorrow , Wednesday, so hope to be able to do some weeding in the garden, if you have any of that spare sunshine, we would be grateful for it .
OK keep well all, and Vicky tell Ian he has a fellow soul mate here regarding work, the more i do the better i feel, I just wish the students we have, had got half as much go in them as i have. Were we like that at 16 and 18 ?.

Graham take care of that hand especially when you are in the garden.
Glen who did all of our garden alterations came last night to price another job for me. It is my big border which is becoming a bit of a chore to look after and taking a lot of my time. As there are other thing that i want to do i want the patio behind it extending as long as the trees stay. It all depends on the price.
I think Graham at 16 we had more get up and go than the youngsters do today, I started work at 15 so had to get on with it or I would have lost my job and the hours were a lot longer then 8.30am to 5.30pm and 8.30am to 1pm on saturday. My grandaughter has a Saturday job but seems to always have something else on so she cant go in.
