Still blustery today, the wind and rain has knocked all the flowers for six in the tubs.
We are going to risk a walk to the pub later this afternoon ( my turn to cook today so I am being crafty! ) so will need to take brollies in case the rain returns.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Keith I moved my tubs to shelter by the side of the greenhouse when the wind got up as I knew they would get blown over otherwise. I have a very nice tub of Regale lilies and i will get Ian to take a picture of it. The lilies smell wonderful. I am just looking through JD Parkers catalogue for the autumn/winter and there are a lot of good offers. I am going to get a miniature apple tree to replace a shrub that has just died.

Hi Vicky and you odbitters .

Well the rain as come to cheshire and not to soon the grass is a mess but over the last 24-48 hours is starting to look better.
The heavy wind is knocking the roses` about a bit .
But I have been busy raking out some old sand  and cement from the patio flags and  bird bath.
Went out this AM and picked a bag of sand and cement and a few paving blocks up .
I have made a start but there is no rush it is therapy for the troubled mind ,had a good walk about 2 miles windy but nice and fresh .
Here is a tale for you all ,went to the local recyling centre last week and some fool had left a TV there on the floor he had cut the lead of close to the frame .
So I though ??could this thing work so I took it home put  a new cable on connected a spare free to view box I had used at the van .
And lo and behold I now have a TV next to my PC so all I need now is a Microwave and I can live in the office upstairs away from her down stairs .

Is that good or what .
I am not insane only having a giggle . The pic is at LIGGWY /RYNYS Angelsey we are there for the last week of the month .
regards for now George Woolley.
