Hi All .

Been a busy few days the grass is brown the roses are all over the place but the garden is fantastic full of colour .
I must say I am at my best when in the garden it is so good ,get down on your knees and get stuck in .

The sky was just right for a shot like that .

The tide was on the turn and the birds are gathering for their tea .

George that is a fantastic photo. I have been down on my knees in the garden today as I am most days. We have 3 evergreen trees and at this time of the year they shed quite a few leaves especially when it is windy as it has been here this week. Still it keeps me fit.

Thank you for your kind words Pamela - I am sorry that you are unable to do much in the garden. I only have a small garden and I just bung in the plants and hope for the best! At this time of year I love to sit and wonder at the beauty of plants, it is so uplifting. These words are so true.....

What a desolate place would be a world without a flower! it would be a face without a smile, a feast without a welcome. Are not flowers the stars of the Earth, and are not our stars the flowers of Heaven?

Hi Keith.  I cease to be amazed at flowers, well plants of all types when I look at their blooms, just how can they produce such wonderful colours and scents, there has to be someone somewhere responsible for it all, perhaps Heaven is all flowers?
