Charlie the Dog. (Help)

Good morning. Hope you do not mind me interrupting your posts. I am looking for someone travelling between French Border(Pyrenees) and Calais to take Charlie, he is a small to med. animal very placid and well used to travel. We had to leave him with friends in Spain as his documentation comes into force after the 26 May. We dont want  to send him with Pro.Pet carriers. A. they want a Kings ransom and B. we have been told of pets being in trucks, caged, for long periods as the  Company go around collecting pets. We would gladly pay the fuel, tolls etc and have friends in Calais who would collect him anywhere in town. If you know of anybody travelling up through France, car, caravan we would be very grateful for any offers advice etc.        Regards j.d.

Ps. Have asked on F. Reu. before but as this is the "Love In"site maybe we will be lucky.  Ta.

Hi all
Vicky  you have a beautiful garden , so much like ours was in the U k . Like Jean you have your garden full with plants , Jean hated to see an open patch of soil . the Rhododendrons are great , ours are only small bushes as yet and will not be in flower for a few weeks yet.
The Broad beans have not germinated , this is a tragedy,  hope we have some more that we can try with . Planted 40 runner bean plants , and the peas will be ready to go out in   about a week. it is so hot at the moment that i can only spend about 30 Min’s out in the garden , i have to come in and cool off.
Jean is at work again , the other cook that helped last year is working somewhere else , so no break at the moment for Jean , she has now worked 30 days without a day off, and its only May and not busy yet , but the boss is dragging her feet a bit   about getting help.
Oh today is idyllic no clouds , just sun , mountains trees, birds and the waterfall , oh and of cause Cyril and his gang .
