Wednesday , day off, so garden  things today . Problem is it is so hot i cant stay out in it for long , I think it is round about 25c which is a far cry from Sunday when it snowed. Planted four rows of runner beans , and also some more potatoes, moved a couple of Roses that appeared dead and replaced with other plants. The Roses were not quite dead so have put them in a recovery bed  in the hope that they will pick up. . More Daffy’s out and the fields are now a brilliant green, this is what happens when the sun is shining at 4am and still shinning at 11pm. This is now the best time of the year  from now until mid June, all the wild flowers are out  and everywhere looks fantastic.Peas are just above the soil surface , but the parsnips and radishes seem slow this year.
The waterfall is thundering down now with the snow melt, but to sit on my seat just by that waterfall is like magic.
Well better have another go in the garden for 30 Min’s until i get to hot again.

I have been round the garden today taking a few photos for you to see. We do have quite a bit of colour just now but all the summer flowers are very slow, especially my Begonia’s , its the lack of sun I think. Its not been very warm apart from today which has been muggy but very cloudy. We really do need some rain as well.
The birds are very busy and eating as though there is no tomorrow. We have had several baby blackbirds this year as well as quite a few Goldfinch which I think are so colourful and lovely.
The first photo is of our Rhodedendrons and blubells which are on our driveway.

This border is by the greenhouse and I am still planting things in it as we lost a big bush from here in the winter. You can also see my new bird feeder pole.
