like all the pictures again . vicky just comparing the Deer you saw with the Elk that were outside the house this morning at 5.30am, the Deer look so fragile in comparison.Patch and and of course Ian look healthy.
had a busy day at work today , first major food deliveries of the season , and it all has to be put in a hand trolley and pulled up the slope to the kitchen , also a group of 25 Koreans for lunch, not the most pleasant of people, plus many more jobs, glad i don’t have to go tomorrow . Saturday and Sunday are big days again , another 165 for lunch on Sunday, and we are going to be short of people to help , so if any of you would like to volunteer , afraid I cant provide any nice girls for the lads , they are the ones that cant work.
Greenhouse so far is not being used , we are having nights that are far to cold to leave anything in there, so things are on the bathroom floor, which is not good as the beans are now a foot tall and need to be in the daylight .
The family that we work for have just opened their 17Th shop . this is in Oslo, but they still complain that they are not doing very well, their idea of that must be a different one to mine, but as long as they keep paying us , we don’t rock the boat.
Talking of camping , we used our friends cabin up in the mountains a few times , well it is an hour and a half’s walk from the nearest vehicle access so you have to carry everything on your back, we went for four days and took all our food etc , BUT also enough G&T for 4 days , sherry for jean and A box of wine , think we must be mad , but you have to take the essentials.
