A mixed reception on this one as I expected but apart from sport we all seem to agree on the rubbish put out on al channels.thanks all !

A mixed reception!!!!!!!!! Is that how you see it Mike, after only three replies,in which two are in agreement.
You admit that that all we get is rubbish, but still advocate the return of the most boring and senile gadgy that is still sending us all to sleep when he is on the box.

Your headline on this post is a tad condescending to suggest that we all have the choice of paying for the viewing we want, but at about £40 a month for Sky,it is not in the reach for most people on a limited income.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

I rarely watch T.V. and cannot stand watching any sort of sport so I am not really concerned what is on.My wife watches T.V. but usually watches one of the freeview channels or DVD’s as BBC or I.T.V are usually rubbish.

Fortune favours the bold

You are right Mike,it was only 3 replies so it wasn’t really a mixed reception. I didn’t say I actually liked Forsythe, wry humour again!I only watch Sky on freeview too.The headline was referring to the Mandarins at the BBC who don’t seem to know anything about balanced programming. Don’t forget you still have to pay your licence fee unless you are a senior pensioner hence the other header.
