hi all. just short postas at moment cant see too well. I only have 9% vision in my right eye due to ablood clot afew years ago,so you can imagine how i felt on tues when i was having difficulty seeing with my left eye, Anyway rang Drs. at 2pm had an app.at 4pm refered to eye specialist who I saw yesterday even though no app. after lot of looking with various lenses confirmed that ther is nothing wrong with the sight in the eye, it appears that it is just some of this jell at the back thathas become detached,,nothing we can do, so have to get used to it, but having had these anesthetic drops in the eye i still cant see to well untill they wear off, and I had adouble dose of them.

Gail, my wife thinks as does Vicky that your plant may be just Grass, or because it is so mild there it may be something that has been planted, so await the verdict of Syd.

Graham - About eight years ago I had a minor stroke at the back of my right eye and lost some of the vision but over time the eye healed and some of the vision returned. With the help of contacts I can see okay to drive etc and carry on as normal as the other eye compensates.

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you lovely people can tell me the name of the plant in my photo. the photo was taken while on a woodland walk in Port Meirion, North Wales. the plant seems to be growing on the tree, I thought you might be able to help me Vicky, any suggestions?

Luv gail x

There is a plant in Australia called ’The grass tree’ and this looks very similar although they don’t usually grow outside Australia!.

Hi Keith, the blood clot at the back of this eye has permamently damaged it, and there is no chance of it recovering, I sometimes think i would be better without it altogether as with just that tiny bit of sight you are all the time slightly out of focus. Sod getting older!!!!!!!1. At least the other one now is better than this morning, the anethseyic in it is now gradually going
