Glad to see that vicky hadnt gone off in that boat, and that she has put us all to shame by battling the Garden. Vicky I dont suppose you bought anything at the Garden centre ?
I have never yet known us to go to one and come away without something, even if it was only Bird seed
Syd I think we ought to have a couple of bottles of wine when  No. 50 comes up, if we ask Keith nicely im sure he will provide a couple of good bottles.
Cleard the snow. Now as it has got a little warmer, there was a great whoosh tonight, went outside and it has come off the roof, now cant get to the garage untill we clear it, 4 feet deep.

Hi Syd ,
Our van is 37ft by 12ft three beds sleeps 9 we have had it for about 5 years .If you can get to Bangor N Wales by train you can spend a few days with us I will pick up from there.Or if you can drive the same applies .all mains .
As for pics I have always liked to take pics but never could afford a good camera.yours must be the top .But i do like to look at the sky ,god gave it to us and it is free as is the sea. Many years ago my No 1 grandson and I lay on the field in the middle of the night with a pair of binocks and spent an hour looking at the stars ,fantastic no street lights to make a mess of it .The simple things in life are the best .If only we could live it all again would we change it .I DONT THINK SO  I have seen the best of this world ,and this country .
take care it is late for OAP`S to be up George Woolley (IDIOT )

Hi gang  coolish here  at -14c but yesterday was -20c  but sky was clear as a bell.Went for a walk on Fri  out  for 2 1/2 hours and never saw even one bird.Nice walk  with warm sun on some of the bends where the sun could get through the trees  .The trail runs  by a nice creek  but it is all ice so nothing to see there .We have not had any snow for  about two weeks  and the snow we do have is about two foot in the vally .We go away on  the W/E  for two weeks on a cruise, no portageing, no cutting fire wood and soft beds and no bugs in the food ,what am
I going  to do .Powder puff trip.Thhere is two moose around each night but we never see them ,one slept..beddown.. about 20ft from the door the other night ,lucky I never let Molly out that door for a pee that night eh .

Graham you are right I couldnt leave the garden centre without buying something. Lemon curd was a top priority as I have it on my breakfast Ryvita daily and dont like the stuff in the shops.I also bought some seed trays and bird food.
Peter what is happening to Molly while you are away cruising and where are you going?
I have been busy in the garden this morning as it is a lovely day here and quite warm.

Don’t worry Graham, I am working on it right now......
