Hi Gail.
We live about 150 miles north of Bergen, close to a village called skei and a Town called Forde, which is about 30 miles away.We actually live in a settlement called Myklebust, which has all of 35 inhabitants.. I think Bergen is alovely city, but now too busy in the Summer for me, Too many Tourists !!!!!!! never thought I would be saying that. Have spent many holidays there particularly in the winter .
No idea about your Tree, have asked my wife, as she is fairly knowledgeable gardener, but no luck, can you go back and photograph the top of it please ? If you have been to "WEstonbirt" there are some that look similar there, so just pop back today and get another photo please.
Sorry, welcome to Odds and Bits, I am only fairly new here, but they are a very nice and peaceful bunch here, and generally very knowledgeable about plants and birds, and Vicky loves !!! water

Good afternoon all we have just got back from handing sophie back to her Mum and Dad. We all met up near Newbury which is a bout halfway for both of us.Unfortnatly the food goodies which I packed for Sophie to take home got left in out car so now I will have to eat them.
Gail whereabouts do you live, I think you said Exeter which we do know pretty well having spent lots of holidays in the area.

Hi Gail
your sis in law lives fairly close to the centre of Bergen i think, if you have not been before, give yourself a day out and take the trip called "Norway  In A Nutshell" it is a whole day , but you will see some of the lovely spots of Norway, it involves  a Bus, Ferry and Train but is well worth it  and dont worry about the lanquage, you will find that most Norwegians speak English. I do hope you come to Norway, even if it is only for a short visit, it is one of the mosyt beautiful countries in the world.

Vicky, it is sad that you are going to have to eat those goodies, you havnt got to, you can give them to Ian and Patch,,hope Patch is now back to full health, but no doubt he is still playing on it abit to get the sympathy vote. No idea what that Tree is that Gail has taken a picture of. I dont remember it being featured in the "Prisoner"
