Good morning all,

Thought I’d catch up with you all while I’ve got a quite hour to myself. Hubby paul has gone fly fishing with our oldest Son Lee, and my grandaughter Jasmine has yet to get up,(she slept over last night). The attachment is is of a beautiful tree that I took while doing a woodland walk in Port Meirion. Don’t know what it’s called but I like it very much.

To those of you going away, have a great time, catch up with your stories when you get back.

Take care out there.....Luv gail

Good Morning all.
and if I have to SHOUT GOOD MORNING SYD.
George, that picture of the Horse, it is so very much like a horse that was in the field next to us in the U k called "Oscar" he was georgeous, all wooly in the winter, the people that own him and two other horses are moving to Canada when they can get all paperwork etc. and not taking their Horses, so they are selling them, I do so wish I could have Oscar, he was a darling.
Peter is on his way now, I hope when he gets back Syd will be here to welcome him. You all know Syd better than I do so I hope one of you can talk some sense into him, is there anybody with some Rank that could order him back.
Well in the meantime, guess what, its snowing again, not a lot, it has rained for 5 days now but not moved a lot of the snow, just enough to be able to see the top of the Roses, there is plenty more snow forecast for the next couple of weeks.
My construction of bird boxes is coming on , we now have 5 made, and of course what happens, somebody says, "Can you make me one". At the moment they are all lined up on the table and look like a row of beach huts.
it will be so nice to see some Green instead of white, now been a white cover for over 3 weeks.
We have decided to have two windows put in the side of the house, one in the lounge so that we can see the other way down the Lake and one smaller one in the one bedroom downstairs to let a bit more light in, I am still recovering from the quote, I could have built an extension in the u K for the same price. It will only happen provided that we are both working this summer. The value of the pound against the Krone is still very worrying for us, when we moved here we got 11.00 kr. to the pound, last year when I renewed my money transfer we only got 10.20Kr I am due to renew again in July and at the moment the company that we use are quoting me 9.60Kr. so as you can see it is not all a bed of roses over here, although the Norwegian econymi is doing quite well.
Thats enough of gloom, except for the fact that on the 17th of this month we should have had the sun shine on us for the first time since end of Oct. there hasnt been any sun for over 3 weeks !!!!!!!!.
Lastly, again , please Syd come on .

What part of Norway do you live in?

My sister-in-law, lives in a place called
