Syd I echo what Graham and George have said, dont go we need you on here.
Graham I try to make anyone feel welcome on here. It is not just about gardening and wildlife, I enjoy hearing how other people live especially people like Peter and yourself who have taken the plunge and gone to foreign fields. I myself did nearly end up in Canada when I was a girl. My Dad went there to live in 1946 and we were supposed to go as well but didnt. I never did find out whether it was because he didnt send for us or my Mum got cold feet. I never saw my Dad after that. I also enjoy everyone’s photos. Keep it all going and tell us some more about Norway.

hi vicky
Thanks for the comments, I know that you have tried to make everyone welcome here, but to us new ones it is a bit like going to see your prospective families before you get married, you are treading softly untill you get to know one another, I am getting there and will soon have my feet under the table. You know Syd better than I do, but it would be very sad if he gave up. I would be a bit upset, as I have liked him from the first contact. I have spent a while on the Saga site and got so fed up with constant bickering, I even started to get into it myself. I found this spot on here, which is just what I wanted, chit chat, quiet and peaceful, just like a garden.
Ok and as syd says Nuff said, keep my fingers crossed.

Good morning to everybody.
It is a little sad that we should be in this position again......Why do you have to leave us Syd?????? We have a lot of respect for the way you have held this group together.
So, we have someone who is wanting a Garden Corner?
It is pointed out to him that we already have one. But it is his choice, and his right, to start another.
We do not own this site. We are but a small input into it, but a very important one with a lot of respect for one another. You have kept us in line Syd and I would be very sad if you left.
It is your choice, but remember is is also your responsibility if it dies because of the lack of input from your guidance.
You lead a site/thread with gives a lot of pleasure.
Please reconsider.
Enuff said!!!
